Solitude, Haafingar. The Thalmor Embassy
Second of Sun’s Dusk.
Solomon Naris awoke in the early afternoon, the sun was shining through the open window, with a gentle, cold breeze. The diplomat sat up and wiped his eyes. He decided to sleep in late, after all, traveling all the way from Morrowind took days and the ride was very bumpy, an old elf such as himself needed rest after such travels.
Getting up, Solomon walked past a mirror and stopped to look at himself. While the humans around him aged, bred and died like rats, Elves would survive for centuries. Solomon admired himself for a second, he was getting a little bit fat, but that was to be expected, given his lack of exercise lately.
Solomon checked his inbox, where normally only formal papers would be received in the morning, but there was only one letter there this time, a handwritten note. The Elven diplomat picked it up and unsealed the envelope with his fingers.

Life in Whiterun - Chapter 6: Justicars
In his years of adventuring, Ja’bar had made many enemies, some of whom still held a grudge. None more so than the Thalmor. The High Elves of the Aldmeri Dominion, a sprawling empire with high tensions against the Empire were so fearful and hateful of the Last Dragonborn that they sent assassins, or Justicars after him. Such an event had not happened since he defeated the mighty dragon Alduin in Sovngarde. He believed that they had given up on trying to assassinate him, as he kept killing them as they came, and came out none the worse for wear, perhaps minor injuries, but nothing a health potion could not heal.
The party of Ja’bar, the orphans and Constance were meandering back to Riften, some still shaken from the encounter with the fugitive. The sun was setting, and it was growing dark, and a fog had set in.
Ja’bar led the group, standing at the front, his ears flicking slightly in the cold wind. As he went by, he detected a figure moving in the distance, then anoth

Life in Whiterun: Chapter 5 - Hunter and Fugitive
Ja’bar had seen this several times before, it was a common scenario, a thief steals something of value, and whoever owns it goes after him, with the intention of killing him. The children were scared, and Constance was trying to calm down a particularly emotional orphan. The guards drew their swords and pointed them at the fugitive.
“Stand down, Ja’bar has this handled”. Ja’bar said, looking over his shoulder, he always reverted to his native dialect in the face of danger. The guards silently sheathed their swords.
Without another word, the fugitive ran off. One of the guards jogged to Ja’bar’s side “you know, it is our duty to catch him and bring him to jail”. The guard’s face was entirely covered by the characteristic helmet that all hold guards wore, and so his voice was slightly muffled.
Undaunted and without turning to make eye contact, Ja’bar grunted “do not worry, this always goes the same way. The rightful

The party exited the gates, accompanied by two town guards in case anything turned sour, and walked into the nearby forest.
“Children, I have not shouted in some time now, so I’m probably a little rusty” said Ja’bar “The first shout I’m going to show you is Unrelenting Force, it was the very first one I learned. Watch.”
Ja’bar directed himself at a nearby tree, and shouted
“Fus!”
The leaves shook and some fell off, as if a strong wind had hit it.
“That was just the first word, Let’s try the second, please stand back a little”
He took a deep breath
“Fus Ro!”
The tree shook and almost every leaf fell off..
“Now for the final word, please stand back about 10 feet behind me. You will feel like there’s a strong wind hitting you, as a warning”
He waited until they had and shouted the full Thu’um.

The tree waved violently, entire branches flew off, and th

Life in Whiterun: Chapter 3 - Honorhall Orphanage
A few days later, Ja’bar was on his way to Riften to speak on a carriage with a particularly apathetic driver, having left Lydia at Breezehome to take care of things. He was slightly worried about the children reacting adversely to him being a Khajiit, although everyone in Skyrim had heard legends of the Last Dragonborn, not many knew that he was of a Beast Race.
When he arrived at the city gates, a guard approached Ja’bar.
“Hey, cat! You need to pay the visitors’ tax to get into the city” he almost shouted in a rough, heavily nordic accent.
“This one can see that this is obviously a shakedown, so please, let Khajiit through” said Ja’bar, sounding as intimidating as he could, baring his teeth and flicking his tail. He had done a lot of intimidating in his time and he had become excellent at it.
The guard seemed slightly shocked by this and stammered incoherently for a few seconds, before whispering “Um, I’ll let you through th

Ja’bar inserted the key into Breezehome, his small and cozy house in the River District. Walking in, he was warmly greeted by his housecarl, Lydia, she was a medium-height woman with a very angled and sharp face and neck-length brown hair, almost always with a slight scowl. She was stirring a cooking pot above the hearth in the middle of the floor. The smell of lamb stew filled the house with an aura of comfort. The housecarl looked up from her cooking and smiled.
“Greetings, my Thane, you’re back early, why?” she asked in a voice almost as sharp as her personality.
Ja’bar sat down at the dining table and sighed, after a moment, he said “hmm, I was finished with my shopping in good time”. He stopped for a moment, he’d been around Nords and Redguard for too long, he didn’t even notice that he had spoken in the first person until after he had said it, a lot of Khajiit in Skyrim had adopted the common dialect, especially merchants, to

Chapter 1: ‘Ja’bar’
Ja’bar stepped out from his home onto the pale cobblestone streets of Whiterun, a crisp breeze running through his auburn fur and blowing at his ears, his tail flickering around. He took a deep breath and smiled. He always liked to remind himself of how fortunate he was to live in such a civilized area, a place to settle down and live a happy life, infinitely preferable to the harsh caravan trains of Elsweyr and their constant grind through the desert.
As he took his first step out onto the street, a young, brown-haired girl rushed in front of him, interrupting the Khajiit’s train of thought.
‘Braith! Please be more careful, yes?’ He tried to say to the girl, but she had disappeared behind one of the many pale-walled, wooden houses, ignoring Ja’bar as usual.
Adjusting his fine leather coat, Ja’bar continued his walk through to the marketplace for this week’s groceries. As he paced across the front door to t

Solitude, Haafingar. The Winking Skeever
Fourth of Sun’s Dusk.

Solomon shuffled past the bouncer and made his way to the bar, settling down on a barstool. The Winking Skeever was nothing special for a tavern in Solitude, there was a dark, smoky atmosphere that Nords found very homely, but an Altmer like Solomon found it deeply unsettling. What was he doing here anyway? It was just a message from someone, it could have been a silly antic of some kind, just to waste his day. He decided he would wait no more than half an hour in this pigsty people called a tavern.

Meanwhile, Ja’bar was watching from the window in a room he rented for a Thalmor fitting his description. When that unmistakable face appeared outside of the door, his heart jumped as terrible memories were recalled, a childhood destroyed by such a cruel, deviant old elf, with effects that still echoed into today, and would haunt him for the rest of his life. Nonetheless, these next few hours would put some of his memories to rest.

Ja’bar always liked to dress nicely, he had specially made robes that were made to be very flamboyant and stylish, but also comfortable for a khajiit, They had holes for his ears and his tail, and the hood was shaped just for a khajiit head. The robe he had on today was a particular favourite of his, it was mostly cream-coloured with red and gold trim, and a comfy silk hood. It also had an attachable cape that only covered one shoulder and arm, it was red on the outside and gold on the inside. He strapped the one-shoulder cape over his chest and around his other shoulder and took the steps two at a time down to greet his old master.

The Dragonborn had aged two decades since the two had last met, yet Solomon Naris only appeared a few years older, But Ja’bar was certain that his cruel master would recognize him. Khajiit physiology is determined by the positions of the stars and moons, some are large and beastlike, others are small and more like a house cat. Ja’bar was one of the inbetweens that had the basic shape of a man, but beast-like traits. One thing that was different, is that every so often, when the stars and moons are perfectly positioned, a Khajiit born at just the right moment will have bright,  purple eyes with sideways, crescent-shaped pupils. Ja’bar was one such rare individual, Altmer don’t usually keep khajiit as slaves, but Solomon was something of a collector, and could not resist the moon-eyed kitten for sale.

Ja’bar shuffled through the crowd and sat down next to Solomon, his heart fluttering, partially in fear, but mostly in excitement for the evening to come.

At first Solomon didn’t notice the purple-eyed Khajiit sitting next to him, so Ja’bar decided to get his attention by saying “Solomon, nice to see you here”, making sure his eyes were covered by his hood.

“Excuse me, but who are you?” Solomon said in his stuck-up Elven accent that Ja’bar hated so much.

Ja’bar, always loving to be theatrical, turned his head, so the faintly glowing, purple eyes were visible. “I think you know who this one is ... master” chuckled Ja’bar, hissing slightly at the “master”

Solomon jumped out of his seat, standing up and backing away slightly in panic “what?! Ja’bar?! I thought you were dead!” He almost shrieked, exasperated by the shock, Solomon always assumed he died in the incident in Helgen, which is why he never went looking for his slave.

Ja’bar was amused by this, “sit down, Solly, Khajiit is not going to hurt you. This one has forgiven what happened long in the past.” he slid a coin purse to the innkeeper and said “two nord meads, please” Turning back to the frightened elf, he smiled and laughed “sit, we have a lot to discuss!”

The two spent the next hour gleefully discussing what they had done in the 20 years they hadn’t seen each other. Nothing much had changed for Solomon, so Ja’bar did most of the talking, told all about his adventures as the Last Dragonborn. At first Solomon did not believe him when he said he was the Dovahkiin that everyone had heard so much about. Everyone assumed that Dovahkiin was a nord, and that’s the way Ja’bar liked it, a mighty warrior living the quiet life.

After a while, Ja’bar turned to the almost drunk Elf and said “the sun is setting, I always watch the sunset, please accompany me outside the city walls, so we can watch it together”

Solomon shrugged, having nothing better to do, he said “alright, but I must be off to the Embassy in the morning, so I need to sleep right after.

Ja’bar smiled “don’t worry, I’m sure you will be there on time.

At first, Solomon was confused by this, old friends? Solomon kept in touch as much as he could. He figured it was probably a childhood friend who he had not seen in a century or two who happened to be in town. But how would this mysterious person know that he was in Solitude? Who was this “little bird”? A curious elf such as Solomon could never resist such a mystery. It was a date, he would be at the Winking Skeever by midday on the Fourth of Sun’s Dusk.
Chapter 1: An old Friend

Dear Soloman Naris,

A little bird told me that you’re going to be visiting the Thalmor Embassy on the Fifth of Sun’s Dusk this year, I wish to meet you in the Winking Skeever the day before at midday, it’s been a long time.

Your’s sincerely,
An Old Friend

Ja’bar slicked back the auburn fur on his forehead and placed his quill back in the almost-empty inkwell, it was getting late, or early, judging by the Northern Lights visible through the window of his small house in Whiterun, his housecarl and close friend, Lydia, had been asleep for hours. Ja’bar, however, had spent the last few weeks tracking down a very important Altmer who he had a particular interest in, and finally, he had found him. By chance, more than anything, the Last Dragonborn had discovered that the elf was on his way to the Thalmor Embassy for some shady reason he never bothered to look into, that wasn’t what mattered. What mattered was that Soloman Naris was going to be in the city of Solitude for the early days of Sun’s Dusk, in the middle of winter.

Ever since he arrived in Skyrim, Ja’bar mostly did not explain his past, what he has said is that he ran away from a caravan train to escape the Skooma trade, and made his way North to Skyrim over the course of a year. Nothing more was ever explained…

...Until now. It was all a lie, Ja’bar’s entire history was a story he made up to disguise the painful truth, something he told nobody, not even his closest friends. Ja’bar was born into slavery, from a mother and father he’ll never know. He was a slave of a Soloman Naris, a Thalmor diplomat and nobleman, due to being weaker than the others at his age, Ja’bar was kept as little more than a pleasure pet until his mid teens.

Miraculously, he escaped while the nobleman was en route to the Thalmor Embassy in Skyrim, wearing only a ragged tunic and footwraps, his hands still bound, he was discovered by Ulfric Stormcloak and his personal bodyguard. When the Imperial legionaries came to arrest Ulfric, Ja’bar was taken along with them, to Helgen, where his adventure began. He continues to suffer from emotional scarring to this day. This can be seen through his apparent sadism in battle, and hatred of the Thalmor, known to fewer, he still suffers from nightmares of his childhood.

It was time to get some sleep, he’d hire a courier the next morning and send it to the Thalmor Headquarters in Solitude, where Soloman would no doubt be staying before departing to the Embassy. Ja’bar walked up the creaking steps to his bedroom, undressed, and pulled the covers over him.
Been a while since I last posted, but I finished off my SCP-049 cosplay last month (but I had to sew a few buttons back on thanks to the shoddy job I did the first time), and now that it's summer, I plan to make more art.

I've brought my art portfolio home from school, so expect a lot of submissions in the next few weeks :3

And yes, my obsession with SCP-049 has not changed.
